Pharmacist-provided SARS-CoV-2 testing targeting a majority-Hispanic community during the early COVID-19 pandemic: Results of a patient perception survey
Free, pharmacist-provided point-of-care COVID-19 testing with counseling was offered at a community pharmacy in a majority-Hispanic, lower-income Arizona community. The approach expanded access during the early pandemic, addressing barriers like limited testing sites and delayed diagnosi with a high percpatients reporting improved access and satisfaction with the service.
