As the new school year approaches, ensuring that our communities are up-to-date with vaccinations is more important than ever. Join us for an informative webinar focused on the critical topic of back-to-school vaccinations, including the latest updates on bird flu, COVID-19 boosters, and routine immunizations. Ryan Health’s Vaccine Champion Dr. G Dawson and Internal Medicine Primary Care Physician Assistant Marlene Taylor will share helpful vaccination information for students and families as we prepare for the Fall semester.

This webinar will cover:

  • Bird Flu: Understanding the current status, risks, and the importance of hygiene to prevent outbreaks in schools.
  • COVID-19 Boosters: Latest recommendations for booster shots to protect children and adolescents as they return to in-person learning.
  • Routine Vaccines: Ensuring that children are up-to-date with essential vaccines such as MMR, DTaP, polio, HPV, meningococcal pneumonia, and more, to prevent common infectious diseases.

The CUNY SPH Center for Immigrant, Refugee & Global Health will also share updates & resources for new New Yorkers with family members heading to school this year.

This webinar will be offered in English & Spanish!
