An Interactive Workshop Series on Climate Change and Public Health

The NYC Pandemic Response Institute (PRI), in collaboration with the NYC Department of Health and Mental Hygiene (DOHMH), proudly presents “Resilient Futures: Climate & Health Justice in NYC.” This series of four interactive workshops will address the pressing challenges posed by climate change to public health while emphasizing equity, resilience, and justice.

Resilient Futures is part of The Year of Climate initiative at DOHMH and underscores the critical need to view climate justice as a public health issue. The sessions will be led by PRI and its institutional experts in public health preparedness, climate change, and equity-focused approaches. This partnership aims to inspire action, foster collaboration, and equip stakeholders with the tools to build a healthier, more resilient NYC.

The series is designed for public health professionals, community leaders, and anyone interested in the intersection of climate and health. Participants will engage with experts and stakeholders to gain practical skills and strategies to address the impacts of climate change on public health, with a focus on resilience and equity, ultimately developing actionable solutions for NYC communities.
