The PRI Innovation Forum advances PRI’s commitment to generating, refining, and scaling practical solutions for public health preparedness and response. The one-day conference on May 5, 2026, will bring together researchers, government officials, industry leaders, community-based organizations, technologists, funders, and social entrepreneurs to move from ideas into action. This year’s theme, Empowering Hyperlocal Response, addresses a central challenge in public health preparedness: emergencies are felt first at the neighborhood level, yet resources and decision-making are often centralized.
Starting at lunch and running through the afternoon, the PRI Innovation Forum will feature a Demo Expo where attendees can engage with new tools, technologies, and ideas designed to empower hyperlocal public health preparedness and response.
We invite startups, innovators, researchers, and solution providers to:
- Pressure-test Your Approach
- Showcase Hyperlocal Innovations
- Get Real-Time Feedback From Organizations, Government, & Businesses
- Find Partners to Adapt and Implement in NYC
Interested in showcasing your work? Three ways to participate:
- Staffed Demo Table – live demos + conversations
- Poster Presentation – share your approach + lessons learned
- Poster Display (unstaffed) – visibility all day without needing to be present
Cash prizes of $1,000 each will be awarded for Most Engaging, Most Innovative, and Most Community-Minded exhibits!
Exhibitors will showcase solutions that help communities, local organizations, and responders act quickly and effectively when systems are constrained. These exhibits will highlight tools, partnerships, and models that deliver timely data, resources, and decision-making support tailored to community needs.
